God The Best Partner

“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and He gives them to each one, just as He determines.” (1 Corinthians 12 v 4-11)

The Bible tells us that God worketh all. We are also told that there is a place for believer in the church. Every person who follows Jesus Christ has been called to serve and no one, absolutely no one is more important than the other. The Pastor is not the only servant, and the pews are not just for church members to sit in, when they attend services!

All believers are servants of God. God has chosen to work through His creation (mankind), to accomplish His purpose on earth. It is important to remember, we who are the ‘body’ of Jesus Christ are servants cultivating and harvesting His vineyard (souls). To assist God has given us the Holy Spirit. To further assist, the Holy Spirit has given to every ‘born again’ believer, one or more gift(s) (talent) to help in their work for His kingdom.

Individuals need this gift(s) to perform their unique role in His kingdom according to God’s plan and purpose for their lives. God has supernaturally knitted that gift into our personality and is waiting to be activated by the Holy Spirit in order for it to become useful and effective.

Let me share something with you, there is no such thing as a non-gifted believer. In other words, God does not create a person without purpose. Every individual on earth has purpose. To whom God has called, He will provide the tools, instructions and provisions to enable the individual to complete their task successfully.

Christians are the Father’s workmanship, created in His image for the purpose of good works. The Holy Spirit has been sent to us and we need to stay connected to Him for the work to be accomplished. Always keep in mind the sap running from the vine into the branches, is what produces the fruit.

Now if God gave His Son, the most precious and amazing gift possible, to take care of our greatest need, then we can trust Him to provide for all areas of our life. Fill your mind and heart with God’s Word, seek His wisdom. Never despair or give up. Obey the Lord, do His will and go in peace.

Abraham Lincoln said the following;

‘That many times he found himself on his knees for lack of any other place to go’

‘Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes of the goal’

‘Never ask for justice, you just might get it, ask for mercy’
