The Just Shall Live By Faith

Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him, must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

Two words describe our faith; confidence and certainty.

These two qualities need a secure beginning and ending point. The beginning point of faith is believing in God’s character – He is, who He says He is. The end point is believing in God’s promises – He will do, what He says He will do. When we believe that God will fulfil His promises even though we do not always see them materializing immediately, Christians are demonstrating true faith.

Our faith is in God who created the entire universe by His word. His word has unlimited power! God called the universe into existence out of nothing, he declared that it was to be, and it was!
